Things hit home for me today that my little guy is growing up. It is such an exciting time for him, going off to a big elementary school next year, but so emotional for me! I wasn’t expecting to feel this yet, being that is it only May and he will not start school until August, but we had a little welcome event at his school this morning and whoosh, here come the tears! I am bawling now as I type! I have loved the time I have gotten to spend with him, exploring and learning all about this amazing world God gave us, and now we are entering a new chapter of life–SCHOOL! It just snuck up on me. I know more emotions will flood when that exciting first day comes but I cannot help but remember the day I first saw him and held his sweet tiny hand in mine. He will always be my baby and I will always want to hold his hand even though he told me, “I’m a big boy, now,” and he didn’t need mine today as we walked in. His brother and I are going to have some adjusting in August. They are best buddies and love each other so much. I am so glad I get to be their mom:)

Isn’t she lovely! This sweet, senior girl babysits my boys and she is GRADUATING! She is amazingly beautiful, smart, funny, honest, hardworking, and caring! I am so excited for you, Emily! I know your future is bright, I think I’ll buy you a pair of shades;) Here is volume 1 of our awesome session! More to come!

I have the BEST neighbors in the whole world! Aren’t they GORGEOUS?! They are super fun (& hip;) ) and are always there when we need them! I was SO excited to take these images of their family when they visited from California. Dan & Lauren, you are lucky you did not visit in the summer;)

I had so many laughs photographing this family! Miss Ashley is my son’s teacher and the sweetest gal you’ll ever meet! I was honored when she asked me to take photos of the WHOLE family! They were such a hoot and I loved getting to know them;)

This sweet little sister made her debut early but look at her now! Big sister and brother are super excited to have her home;) It was so sweet watching them love on her! she is well loved in this house. They are going to make so many happy memories together. Families are such a gift to be treasured!
